ABOUT THE GAME

A series of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small-town community surrounded by the wilderness of the Northwestern Pacific. Special Agent Saga Anderson, renowned for solving impossible cases, arrives to investigate the murders. Anderson’s case takes a nightmarish turn when he discovers pages of a horror story becoming a reality around him.

Alan Wake, a lost author trapped in a nightmare beyond our world, writes a dark story in an attempt to shape the reality around him and escape his confinement. Pursued by a dark terror, Wake tries to maintain his sanity and defeat the devil at its own game.

Anderson and Wake are two heroes on desperate journeys in two distinct realities, interconnected in ways neither of them can comprehend, mirroring each other, echoing each other, and affecting the worlds around them.

Powered by the horror story, supernatural darkness infiltrates Bright Falls, corrupting the locals and threatening the loved ones of both Anderson and Wake.
