ABOUT THE GAME

“Vinny, a millennial from London, enters a dating app for the first time while living in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic. With five potential female matches, Vinny must summon the courage to go on video dates with very different personalities, starring Mandip Gill (Doctor Who) and Georgia Hirst (Vikings).

The viewer’s choices will determine Vinny’s interactions with each date and their interest in seeing him again. In a branching, multi-directional chain of conversation topics and deep-dive questions, Vinny faces digital dating games, challenging scenarios, and unexpected truths.

Five Dates is an exploration of the unpredictable modern dating experience, following a single man as he navigates the world of digital dating. Throughout his journey, the viewer’s decisions for him will challenge their own perceptions of attraction and compatibility.

Throughout the game, your choices and interactions will either strengthen or weaken your relationship with your date. Relationship scores are calculated from beginning to end and will have consequences in certain scenarios as well as affecting the final scenes.
